Tiara Beach Resort <b>Port Dickson</b> owners cry foul over management <b>...</b> Posted: 06 Sep 2011 07:02 PM PDT Some of the apartment owners of Tiara Beach resort in Port Dickson are voicing their dissatisfaction with the management of the resort for its recent move to charge a ridiculous fee for guests who come to the theme park. This is where some of the apartment units in Tiara Beach Resort are owned by families who either come here for vacation or lease it out through agents. If one has invested money into these apartment units, they will expect to be able to rent out their units during weekends or public holidays in order to cover their cost of purchasing the apartments. However, the management of the Tiara Beach Resort recently imposed a new fee for guests who come here to use its theme park facilities. This has caused a deep reduction of visitors to Tiara Beach Resort. With a hefty fee of RM30 for each adult and RM15 for children, the fees are too high and this has deterred visitors who usually come to Tiara Beach Resort to enjoy its theme park facilities. This in return has resulted in lesser guests who are looking to stay in Tiara Beach Resort. As a result, apartment owners now has to deal with lower occupancy rate at their apartment units which means they have to fork out their own money to cover their installments. To further gravitate the problem, agents are 'extorting' the owners and taking advantage of the situation by offering a low sublet fee from the desperate owners. In such situations, the owners who are already suffering more than 50% losses have no choice but to succumb to such bully tactics.
